The project is to install two new bowling lanes in the Gregory Reis Rec Center at the Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville, Ky. Kentucky School for the Blind is located at 1867 Frankfort Ave., Louisville, 40206. The installation will include demo of existing lanes and equipment in their entirety and installation of two new bowling lanes. The lanes shall be installed complete with all accessories to make the lanes fully operable. The contractor must measure and install new lanes to fit the intended space. Lanes should meet all current standards. The lanes are for use by students at Kentucky School for the Blind. Students range from elementary to high school. Installation shall come with start up by licensed operator, training for staff and a full one year warranty. The lanes shall include but not limited to: • Lanes, foundation system, lumber • Foul line detection and printed foul line warning • Bumper and Gutter system • Ball Return System with rack and reset buttons • Pinspotters with all accessories for operation • Glow Pins • Controls for lane operation, controls should include everything necessary for operation of system including all software and licensing. Contractor to provide computer and all applicable devices. • Floor mounted console with touchscreen operation • Spare part kits • 16 Bowling Balls (age appropriate) • 16 pairs of Bowling Shoes (age appropriate) • Ball Ramp • Digital Scoring System with mounted displays
