Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. ClearLane Enhanced deicer is an enhanced highway deicing salt product containing a pre-wetting agent, dye, and a corrosion inhibitor. 2. Enhanced deicer must have magnesium chloride or equivalent incorporated on rock salt. 3. Estimated amount of deicer to be purchased is 1200 tons. Actual purchase of deicer may be more or less than1200 tons. 4. The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky reserves the right to purchase additional deicer, if the need arises, at the bid price quoted by the successful bidder. This price shall remain in effect through July 1, 2016. 5. All deicer shall be shipped to 2311 Lapsley Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104. Shipping charges shall be included in bid price.
