Specifications include, but are not limited to: The new Records Holding Facility (RHF) on the Boone National Guard Center (BNGC) is intended to archive and store records for the National Guard and handle mail operations for the BNGC. The facility includes administrative areas, a mail operations area, and storage areas. The building site is located near the BNGC rear access control gate, and positioned north of the existing parking lot for the Band Building (Armory 4). The new RHF will share existing parking with the Band Building and be situated south of the secured perimeter fencing for BNGC. The parking area, site, and security fencing will require modifications to accommodate the new building, dedicated visitor parking, and vehicular access for the mail operations functions.
