Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contract personnel services provided shall be able to accomplish the following. However,services which are not specifically requested in this RFP, but which are necessary to providethe functional capabilities proposed by the proposer, shall be included in his/her proposal:-Coordinate with SD1 engineering department so that the elimination process is completedsmoothly and efficientlyo Attend internal meetings within varying departments inside SD1o Work with engineers, managers, and other staff within SD1 to coordinate privateproperty identification and removal-Meet with homeowners and attend public meetings. Any public forum meetings would alsobe attended by SD1 Project Manager.-Work with homeowners and contractors to develop plans that meet SD1's removalrequirements-Execute and manage paperwork that is necessary to document removal of illegalconnections-Perform inspections on illegal connection eliminations-Selected Firm will be required to provide individual technician, vehicle, and computer for thisindividual. Vehicle usage will be reimbursed on a per mile basis. For the purposes ofcomparison, it is assumed that a vehicle will be required an average of 1,000 miles permonth. All other incidental expenses and supplies will be provided by SD1.-Cost-effectively eliminate I/I on private propertyo Use basic calculations to determine quantity of storm water entering sanitary sewersand practicality of removing the connection.o Notify homeowners of illegal connections thru the use of standard SD1 letterso Follow SD1's polices and procedures for I/I elimination
