Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. INTERFACE A. THE DDC SYSTEM CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO COORDINATE WITH THE CHILLER SUPPLIER FOR PROPER COORDINATION AND INTERFACING OF ALL SPECIFIED DATA POINTS, INCLUDING ANY AND ALL INCIDENTAL PROGRAMMING REQUIRED FOR PROPER DISPLAY/COMMANDING OF THE DATA POINTS SPECIFIED IN EQUIPMENT SPEC AS WELL AS ALL ADDITIONAL DATA POINTS LISTED IN THIS SECTION. B. THE BAS CONTRACTOR SHALL DO A POINT -BY -POINT VERIFICATION OF ALL READ/WRITE POINTS BETWEEN THE CHILLER AND THE DDC SYSTEM. THE POINT -BY -POINT VERIFICATION IS TO BE DONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CHILLER EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER. THE CHILLER EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER IS TO PROVIDE A TRAINED TECHNICIAN TO WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DDC SYSTEM CONTRACTOR FOR THE POINT -BY -POINT VERIFICATION.; 2. ALL SAFETIES INTERLOCKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE CHILLED WATER SYSTEM SHALL BE HARD WIRED. SOFTWARE INTERLOCKS ARE ACCEPTABLE AS SECONDARY ADDITIONAL SAFETIES.; 3. THE CHILLER SUPPLIER SHALL FURNISH CONTROLLERS THAT CAN COMMUNICATE VIA BACNET MS/TP TWISTED PAIR WITH THE BAS. THE SETUP AND PROGRAMMING OF THE CHILLER CONTROLS WILL BE BY THE CHILLER SUPPLIER. THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL CONTRACTOR WILL MAP BECNET POINTS INTO THE BAS AND CREATE THE WEB -BASED GRAPHICS.; 4. RUN CONDITIONS A. THE INTENT OF THE HEAT RECOVERY CHILLER IS TO PROVIDE HOT WATER IN THE SUMMER FOR REHEAT WHEN STEAM TO THE BUILDING HAS BEEN TURNED OFF, AND CHILLED WATER IN THE WINTER WHEN CHILLED WATER IS NOT AVAILABLE.; B. THE CAPACITY CONTROL FOR CHILLER TO MAINTAIN SUPPLY WATER TEMPERATURE SHALL BE CONTROLLED BY THE CHILLER'S FACTORY CONTROLS.; 5. A PRIMARY FLOW PUMPING SYSTEM IS UTILIZED FOR BOTH WATER SYSTEMS (CWP -01, AND HWP -01). THE VARIABLE FLOW PUMPING SYSTEM IS CONTROLLED TO MAINTAIN PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL ACROSS THE MODULAR CHILLER. THIS WILL FACILITATE THE PROPER TURN DOWN IN FLOW CHARACTERISTICS AS THE CHILLER LOADS AND UNLOADS. COORDINATE WITH MANUFACTURER.; 6. WINTER OPERATION A. CHILLED WATER PLANT IS SCHEDULED TO NOT PROVIDE COOLING IN THE WINTER (TYPICALLY OCTOBER 15 - APRIL 15). COORDINATE PLANT SCHEDULE WITH PPD. WHEN THERE IS A CALL FROM COOLING OR THE OA -7 > 65 F THE DHRC -01 SHALL BE ENABLED TO PROVIDE WINTER COOLING DURING THIS TIME.; B. DHRC -01 CHILLED WATER SUPPLY SET POINT SHALL BE 42 F (ADJ.) TO THE CHILLED WATER LOOP.; C. BOTH CWP -01 AND HWP -01 SHALL BE ENABLED.; D. WHEN HWR TEMP (T -4) IS GREATER THAN 90 F (ADJ.), CHILLED WATER INJECTION VALVE (V -2) SHALL; MODULATE OPEN TO MAINTAIN HWR TEMP. EXISTING PLANT CONTROL VALVE (V -EX) SHALL BE CLOSED.; E. AS VAVS ARE REPLACED, THE BUILDING HW DEMAND WILL INCREASE AND LESS HOT WATER WILL BE REJECTED INTO THE CENTRAL PLANT RETURN.; 7. SUMMER OPERATION A. THE HOT WATER SYSTEM FROM DHRC -01 SHALL PROVIDE SUMMER REHEAT TO THE BUILDING AND REJECT COOLING TO THE CENTRAL PLANT RETURN.; B. DHRC -01 CHILLED WATER SUPPLY SET POINT SHALL BE 42 F (ADJ.) TO THE CHILLED WATER LOOP.; C. DHRC -01 HOT WATER SUPPLY SET POINT SHALL BE SET BASED ON HOT WATER RESET SCHEDULE BELOW.; D. BOTH CWP -1 AND HWP -01 SHALL BE ENABLED.; 8. HOT WATER SUPPLY RESET SCHEDULE: WHEN THE OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE IS 50 F (ADJ.) OR LESS, THE SUPPLY WATER TEMPERATURE SHALL BE 135 F (ADJ.). WHEN THE OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE IS 60 F (ADJ.) OR GREATER, THE SUPPLY WATER SHALL BE 120 F (ADJ). RESET SUPPLY WATER TEMPERATURE LINEARLY BETWEEN THESE TEMPERATURE RANGES. THIS RESET SCHEDULE SHALL BE FULLY ADJUSTABLE.
