Administration Building, Guard Tower #2, and Housing Units – The existing buildings will be completely reclad with new prefinished, factory foamed, insulated aluminum panels, minus the area at the Administration Building nominally defined by column lines 1, .01, H.9 and N.1. There will be Architectural Louvers integrated with the metal panel system in these buildings as well. The metal panel at grade will receive a new cast in place concrete ledge and precast sill. There are several locations where new metal stud framing will need to be installed to support new sheathing and the metal panel system, coordinate with Structural. Locations where the metal framing will be needed are as follows, exterior soffits, existing exterior Sally Port (ceiling, soffit and suspended wall), as well as the buttresses.
