The City of Bowling Green, KY is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) in order to automate the process of producing the City’s annual Recommended Budget Book and Adopted Budget Book. Optional pricing is also being requested for three add-on options, which may or may not be awarded, for solutions to produce and publish the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), and monthly Financial Bulletins. The new solution must provide overall improvements to the budget books, and potentially for the ACFR, PAFR, and monthly Financial Bulletin, production process through time savings, process efficiencies, automation, and real-time integrations with external sources of data. It must also meet the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) criteria for the budget, ACFR, and PAFR documents and have a userfriendly interface for inputting and importing data, managing and retrieving information, as well as generating reports and the publications.
