The selected architectural and engineering team will provide comprehensive professional services to evaluate the existing Public Works campus and develop a site master plan that addresses current needs, future growth, and modernization goals. The scope shall include, but not be limited to, the following elements: Project Initiation & Programming - Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions of all buildings and infrastructure. Facilitate meetings and workshops with leadership and staff to establish project goals, priorities, and operational needs. Prepare a program analysis outlining space needs, adjacencies, and functional requirements. 2. Site Analysis & Logistics - Assess site circulation for fleet vehicles, staff, and visitors, with recommendations for improvements in traffic flow, safety, and efficiency. Evaluate truck barn use for winter plow equipment, identifying potential modifications or reconfigurations. Provide civil engineering analysis, including grading, drainage, resurfacing, and existing utility infrastructure. Geotechnical explorations and reports will be provided by the County’s pre-approved geotechnical consultant. The selected vendor will be responsible for coordinating with the County’s consultant, including developing the required scope of geotechnical services necessary to support completion of the master plan study. 3. Facility Assessments - Fleet Services Facility: Review preliminary design and integrate into overall campus plan, recommending adjustments as needed. Property Maintenance / Sign Shop Building: Evaluate existing building systems (MEP, roof, exterior, interior) and confirm feasibility of demolition to accommodate the new Fleet Services Facility and opportunities to construct an appropriately sized space to accommodate the needs of this operation Vehicle Storage Building: Conduct MEP and architectural assessment to determine condition, functionality, and potential upgrades. Main Administrative Building: Assess structure, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Develop preliminary design concepts for office modernization, space reconfiguration, and new interior finishes. Explore options for creating a first-floor, ADA-accessible conference and training room.
