The security guards’ primary duties and areas of responsibilities are as follow: Access Control – prevent unauthorized access to Bluegrass Station Division by patrolling and monitoring the property perimeter and all access gates, whether the potential intruder’s intent is terrorism, some other type of violence, theft, vandalism, or simply to be a nuisance. The security guards’ issue temporary passes to individuals requesting entry to Bluegrass Station Division per the policies issued by Bluegrass Station Division. Security Gate Register – (which will become the property of Bluegrass Station Division) is to be completed and maintained on a daily basis. It shall be completed to adequately describe individuals entering any and all gates and shall include the person’s name, organization of the person’s sponsor, driver’s license number and the sponsor’s building and phone numbers. Security Patrols and Traffic Controls – patrols shall be designated to prevent theft and vandalism and to ensure parking policy compliance; to encourage drivers to drive safely; deter intruders from attempting to access Bluegrass Station Division’s perimeter fence and assist in early detection of emergency situations. The security guards must be alert and able to quickly learn the normal activities that take place in and around Bluegrass Station Division. In addition to performing regular patrols, security guards may need to walk the perimeters of specific buildings. Specific buildings requiring patrols may change during the life of the Master Agreement Contract.
