Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Work collaboratively alongside RM staff to manage claims against the County, including permitting RM staff access to the TPA’s claim management system so that designated people identified by the County can: run and retrieve reports, enter/set-up incidents and/or claims, attach documents, enter notes, and as appropriate, enter payments and adjust financial information, such as reserves. For those claim system capabilities not accessible to RM staff, the TPA will identify a person or people who may be contacted to enter information, make adjustments, etc., as requested by RM staff. 2. Claim adjuster(s), claim supervisor(s), and/or operation manager shall be available to meet at least semi-annually for a claim review meeting with RM staff covering both workers’ compensation and liability matters. 3. Prepare any reports reasonably required or desired by the County both periodically and ad hoc, and in so doing assist the County in mining loss data to identify high risk areas, loss trends, and leading claim types so that the County can work to prevent future injuries, losses, and frequency of claims. 4. Prepare and distribute federal form 1099's for vendor payments. 5. Fully cooperate during any claim audit.
