Specifications include, but are not limited to: • For any IP connectivity between the CO and PSU, vendor shall offer dedicated fiber from vendor’s central office to Pittsburg State University campus phone room • Vendor shall provide a gateway device for conversion from VoIP to up to 5 emulated PRI circuits configured to operate with a Nortel/Avaya PBX. (AdTran or similar VoIP to T1 gateway device(s)) PSU prefers that a redundant or distributed design be employed so that there is no single point of failure in the equipment that would take all talk-paths offline. This redundancy can be quoted as an option in vendor’s response. PSU Will provide battery backed and generator supported A/C mains power for the device(s). • Vendor shall provide flat-rate, unlimited nationwide long distance calls on all circuits • Vendor shall initially provide 118 simultaneous conversations and will state the process and cost for adding or removing conversation paths from this initial value (we expect a reduction, not an increase) • Vendor shall provide a method for PSU to monitor traffic statistics on its simultaneous conversation path usage to help PSU determine the appropriate number of paths as time goes on. • Vendor shall provide incoming domestic 800 service forwarded to a PSU DID number (US only - 5 existing numbers initially) • Vendor shall provide outbound international calls • Vendor shall provide a one-time installation fee and outline any recurring fees • Vendor shall be capable of providing service 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week for major system repairs. Please describe the service call flow process ( i.e., the procedure that a customer must follow) from problem discovery through the placement of a service call. • Vendor shall describe the remote support services offered to PSU for ongoing troubleshooting, general support, provisioning, and billing issues.
