Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Assist each TASN priority project in designing and implementing evaluation activities that measure the effectiveness, implementation, and sustainability for increased educator efficacy and improved student results. System-wide evaluators observe project activities and work closely with project staff on how to implement meaningful utilization-focused evaluation practices. This ongoing, collaborative process informs KSDE staff, increases TASN providers’ knowledge, and builds the data analysis competence of teachers, administrators, and local education agency (LEA) coaches charged with implementing evidence-based instructional practices. 2) Host and provide technical assistance to district staff on use of a free online survey tool, www.districttools.org. 3) Annually evaluate and produce evaluation briefs for each priority. 4) Annually analyze federally required Kansas IDEA State Performance Plan State Systemic Improvement Plan Indicator 17 data and prepare draft report for KSDE’s consideration. 5) Create other priority reports upon request.
