Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Manhattan is seeking qualification submissions from highly qualified, registered engineering firms that provide innovation and experience in municipal engineering, sanitary sewer system modeling and flow meter data analysis for wet and dry weather conditions, design and construction, utility relocation, and easement/right-of-way acquisition. The consulting services will include analysis and engineering design for Seth Child Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Improvements. Submittals should focus on the consultant’s capabilities for providing services which include, but are not limited to the following project components: • Collection, evaluation and assessment of sanitary sewer flow metering data. • Reduction of inflow and infiltration of stormwater and groundwater into a sanitary sewer collection system. • Design of non-traditional or in-situ sanitary sewer construction methods that reduce impacts to established developments, businesses, residences or other public/private infrastructure. • Design survey services. Scope will also include additional survey beyond the construction limits to collect sufficient data for critical structures relevant to determining future design connections. • Prepare construction plans, submittal packages, and cost estimates. • Include right-of-way and easement acquisition services as needed. • Utilities Conflict Management and Relocation, if necessary • Environmental Clearances projects.
