Specifications include, but are not limited to: Assist JCPRD in assessing program accessibility and in updating our Self-Evaluation. Evaluate accessibility accommodations, policies, and procedures for all JCPRD’s programs and services, and provide guidance for meeting the 2010 ADA standards. Determine which JCPRD buildings are subject to the requirements of the ADA and conduct a Barrier Assessment of those buildings. Conduct an ADA evaluation of outdoor park and recreation facilities. Create an ADA Transition Plan (including cost estimates) and prioritize barrier removal projects using stakeholder feedback. Meet periodically with an Advisory Committee of JCPRD staff and citizens. Engage the community through focus groups, workshops, etc. Disseminate a draft plan for public comment at an open house and through digital media. Present the Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan to the JCPRD Board.
