Specifications include, but are not limited to: Media planning, media buying, and advertising services for the University of Kansas. KU Marketing Communications works with a variety of vendors to create, execute, and evaluate strategic media plans in the service of several objectives, including but not limited to: enrollment, brand awareness, and brand development. Media planning, buying, and other advertising needs vary from year to year, as do the objectives, target audiences, and budgets of varying campaigns. Chosen vendors will work with the strategy and creative teams at KU Marketing Communications to develop paid-media strategy and execute those plans. Most creative development will occur in-house at Marketing Communications, although the successful bidder will be responsible for providing creative strategy consultation and evaluation and/or testing plans for creative. The successful bidder also will closely monitor the performance of all campaigns, suggest real-time changes to improve performance toward the stated objectives, and evaluate the campaign upon its completion to provide learnings for the next campaign.
