Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide professional design services for an overall sports complex improvement plan, including a phasing plan and opinion of cost. Provide a live presentation to the JCPRD Board showing information and content similar to what is required for the Shawnee Planning Commission approvals. This would likely be presented at a regular public meeting of the JCPRD Board in Shawnee Mission Park. Provide digital color renderings of the site and buildings for presentation to the JCPRD Board and for JCPRD’s website and public outreach on the project. Renderings to be updated and provided at Schematic, Design Development, and at Bid Document phases. Review program and budget for the Phase 1 improvements. Provide a preliminary review of Owner’s Draft Project Milestone schedule for design, permitting, bidding and construction, adjust as necessary and update milestone schedule at Schematic, Design Development, and at Bid Document phases. Conduct a site investigation of existing conditions to assess constraints (site conditions, accessibility, utilities, etc.) ; Demolition of several existing buildings New entrance ticket gate building New concession/restroom building with shaded seating area for one (1) softball quad New central concession/restroom building with storage, office space, and umpire room New walkway improvements with site lighting from entry gate to clubhouse area and pathway to and including one (1) softball quad New playground with shade structure and unitary safety surface Utility improvements related to new buildings and sports field lighting Security cameras for the entire complex ; Synthetic turf infields, outfields, and bullpens for one quad of softball fields (four fields) New LED sports field lighting and poles for ten (10) softball fields and two (2) baseball fields Irrigation and turf improvements for non-playing field areas including new irrigation main loop for the complex and central control system for entire complex.
