Specifications include, but are not limited to: Stamped Concrete Sidewalks and Drainage Channels: 1. All walks are to be 6’ wide. 2. Relief cuts need to be made every 6’ intervals. 3. All concrete to be 4” thick and reinforced with #4 grade 60 re-bar and graded to ADA specifications. 4. Form and pour approximately a 20-foot octagon under existing gazebo. 5. Install eight (8) concrete footers, maximum 3’D x 12”W footers. 6. Remove and replace three (3) six-foot concrete panels. 7. Form and pour approximately 130 linear feet of six-foot concrete sidewalk. 8. All concrete is to be 4,000 psi, stamped and colored. 9. All concrete walks should be stamped with the same pattern to match existing sidewalks. 10. Apply minimum one (1) coat of acrylic sealer. 11. Three (3) areas where concrete needs cut out and drain channel poured. See figure 1. 12. One (1) drain channel in new sidewalk. 13. Drain channel should be 12”D x 12”W and able to accommodate a 3/8” corrugated steel ADA grate. See figure 1. 14. Concrete at entrance of gazebo should be flared (or curved) where it comes off of the main walk to allow for foot traffic cutting corners. 15. Shawnee County will remove existing brick. 16. Shawnee County will backfill soil along new concrete sidewalks.
