Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this proposal is to obtain a comprehensive Golf Course point-of-sale system and website host that can meet the current requirements of the Shawnee County Parks + Recreation (SCP+R) department and is capable of expansion to meet future needs. SCP+R is most interested in a fully- hosted solution with minimal local client(PC) software installation which provides staff and customers the greatest flexibility in accessing the software. However, SCP+R will consider on-premises and web-based software solutions, especially if the product is more cost-effective. SCP+R is interested in finding a product that keeps credit card information separate from the County’s network, minimizes or eliminates DMZ hosting requirements and makes PCI compliance less costly for SCP+R. SCP+R’s golf courses currently use Vantiv as the credit card processor, but is willing to explore other processors that integrate with the proposed system. The ideal software solution will enable SCP+R to provide excellent customer service, both in-person and online, for its main business activities including, but not limited to:daily play, memberships, league scheduling, point-of-sale, inventory management, gift cards, marketing, payment processing and reporting. In addition, the system should provide for efficient and effective business processes and management tools to assist in program administration.
