Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2019 Outsourced Pavement Preservation Program CIP Concrete Street and Crosswalk Repairs, Phase 1 (various locations). Work on the crosswalk replacement will consist of removing the existing brick and sand and replacing with approximately 4 inches of colored concrete. Existing depth of brick and sand varies throughout. Prior to the placement of the colored concrete, the contractor will be required to sandblast the existing concrete surface to obtain a rough surface. Once sandblasted, the pavement must be cleaned of all debris prior to the placement of the colored concrete. The concrete will be stamped and a color release applied prior to stamping. Contractor shall joint the concrete to match the existing and seal per the specification on item 12. Details of the stamping and concrete color are below. All work associated with the brick crosswalk repairs will be considered subsidiary to the bid item “4” Stamped Concrete”.
