Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. All trout must be a minimum of 11-inches, measured from snout to tail. 1. Although a minimum length is specified, it is understood that some smaller trout may inadvertently be loaded into the delivery. SCP+R will conduct random length and weight samples for compliance. i. Based on the random sampling, a compliance percentage will be assigned to the overall shipment. ii. Should the percentage of measured trout not meeting the minimum size exceed five (5) percent of the total shipment, the delivery may be rejected. B. At least 600 trout in each delivery shall weigh in excess of four (4) pounds each. C. Origin and production of trout must be from disease-free hatchery facilities as certified by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. D. Trout must be healthy and in good condition as determined by both parties at time of delivery. 1. Trout displaying questionable health and/or not meeting the size or other specified conditions may result in rejection of the shipment. E. All trout in each delivery shall not be fed for 48 hours prior to delivery.
