Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Compliance to City of Topeka Standard Technical Specifications. 2. ADA compliance; side slope not to exceed 2% 3. Backfilling all sidewalk edges with excavated soil or additional soil as needed, provided by contractor as part of project a. Seeding and fertilizing will not be part of this project 4. All labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation to complete the project in a timely manner 5. Contacting and coordinating with Dig Safe and Shawnee County Parks + Recreation to locate all utilities concerning this project 6. Obtaining all necessary permits as required 7. Keeping the construction site clean during and after implementation 8. Removing all concrete slobber from the project site 9. All unnecessary vehicles shall park on the street or in designated parking areas; not the grass 10. Protect trees in the construction zone by fencing around the drip-line of the canopy 11. Removal of all existing material and plant/organic material necessary for the project completion a. Excavated soil shall remain onsite as designated by Project Manager b. Excavated concrete is contractor’s responsibility to remove dispose of appropriately 12. Sub-grade preparation a. Sand is not an approve sub-grade material 13. Construction staking and layout a. As approved by Project manager with a minimum 48-hour notice 14. All work areas that work is being conducted in/around must be secure for public safety. a. Signs will be posted by contractor pertaining to work-site and safety b. Contractor will block off areas after work is completed for the day to meet public safety and to protect product surface quality
