Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Technology Application Project for SNAP Success (TAPSS) is a Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF), Economic and Employment Services (EES) led initiative, funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) as part of the Fiscal Year 2018 Process and Technology Improvement Grants. The purpose of TAPSS is to use a human-centered design approach to develop, implement, and evaluate a strengths-based, mobile-enabled website designed to improve communication between SNAP, known as Food Assistance in Kansas, Employment and Training (FAE&T) participants and staff, eliminating behavioral bottlenecks and leading to our overall goals.
