Repair and/or overhaul and parts for electrical equipment. Equipment may include, but not limited to, switchgear, transformers, breakers, automatic transfer switches, motor control centers, switchboards, and variable frequency drives. Equipment may be single phase or 3-phase and may include voltages up to 12.47 kV. Work may include or require the following services: • Field inspection and testing of electrical equipment. • Routine maintenance of electrical equipment. • Rebuilding or upgrading of breakers. • Testing breakers. • Repair of electrical equipment rated for NEC Class 1 Division 1 and Class 1 Division 2 environments. • Field insulation testing. • Racking and unracking of breakers on de-energized gear. • Development of safety and maintenance plans for electrical gear in a wastewater environment. • Training of JCW staff on routine maintenance requirements for electrical equipment.
