Engineering Design Develop detailed engineering plans and specifications and an engineer’s estimate of probably cost for the drainage improvements, slope stabilization structure, and pedestrian barrier. Ensure designs comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and standards. Conduct sufficient analysis to ensure the stability and functionality of the proposed improvements. Create bidding documents, release for bid, and assist in evaluation and award of the contract. Construction Oversight The firm will oversee the construction process, ensuring quality of work from construction contractors and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and standards. Existing Conditions The firm, in undertaking the work under this contract, is assumed to have visited the premises and to have taken into consideration all conditions which might affect the work. No consideration will be given to any claims based on lack of knowledge of existing conditions.
