SIDELOAD 3-YARD CONTAINERS: 1. 180- 3-yard EMCO style lift system containers 2. Body of the containers shall be 12-gauge steel 3. The containers shall be 100% welded (inside or outside) 4. The three yard (3 yd) containers shall have a three (3) piece lid system and the rear section shall be 16 gauge metal with two (2) poly front lids each. 5. The two (2) poly lids shall not be more than 1/2 of the opening of the entire 6. 7. container. The poly lids shall extend not less than one inch (1") past the front edge of the container, but not more than 1 1/2" past the front edge of the container. The Emco style metal hooks on the container shall be a minimum of one-half inch (1/2") thick All poly lids shall be manufactured to withstand at least their own weight without the need for support brackets. If a rod system is used to attach the lids to the container, slots will not be accepted in the brackets. (Single hole only.) 8. Containers shall have one and one half inch (1-1/2") drain plug 9. Containers shall be primed and painted FOREST GREEN in color 10. Inside bottom and six inches (6") up all sides shall be treated with an additional corrosion resistant material 11. Lift assembly shall be welded ten inches (10") from the top opening of the container to the top of the lift assembly (see attachment 1) 12. Lids installed by the City of Garden City 13. City of Garden City shall unload containers 14 All material needed to assemble containers completely shall be included with delivery of Containers
