Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office desires to select a qualified firm to provide scheduling and payment management for off-duty employment. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will supply the vendor with a list of qualified law enforcement personnel. When off-duty assignments are requested [24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week] the vendor will ensure established criteria is met for an approved job. The vendor will determine the number of deputies required to work from a provided matrix, notify the agency of the available job, and make assignments based on interested Sheriff’s Office personnel. The vendor will maintain communication with the requestor, providing information related to the successful staffing of the event or failure to staff the event. The vendor will guarantee payment to Sheriff’s Office personnel who fill and complete approved off-duty assignments. The vendor is responsible for collecting payment from the person/business requesting the off-duty assignment.
