1. Cash Transfers- These personnel are responsible for delivering and picking up cash from the five Festival gates on an ongoing basis throughout the weekend. A team of two deliver cash at the beginning of the day, pick up excess cash from gates when sales levels are high, and deliver bundled amounts of bills as change as needed. 2. Gate Security- These personnel use discretion regarding patrons/volunteers/vendors entering and leaving the park. An ability to make reasonable judgments is necessary as a variety of unique situations can occur. Basic responsibilities are to watch all incoming vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure they have proper passes, wristbands, or other identifying marks to enter the park. Monitor coolers to ensure no glass beverage containers or liquor is brought into the park, enforce attendees to properly wear the required wristbands before entering the park, assist gates volunteers as requested, and communicate with Festival officials or security supervisor when necessary. 3. Park Security- Roving security helps maintain order during the operational hours. This includes making sure patrons do not enter restricted areas, enforcing smoking policies, protecting vendor assets, art, and park infrastructure from theft or vandalism, watching for unsafe behaviors, assisting guests with special needs or questions, and helping clear the park at the end of the day after the park is closed. 4. Overnight Security- These personnel are responsible for securing the park overnight. This includes making regular rounds, monitoring overnight activity by artists, vendors, (and drunks), monitoring vehicle traffic, notifying Festival officials in the event inclement weather damages Festival assets.
