The unit is to be a portable conveying system with a ribbed rubber belt, vulcanized or spliced, used for conveying rock salt from a hopper just above ground level into a dome shaped storage.; The unit shall be as specified in the Request for Quotation: either (1) a specific length or (2) properly sized to fill the dome through a side door for either a 41', 51' or 61' diameter dome (Figures One, Two, or Three).; The unit shall be capable of being powered through a 540 rpm, tractor Power Take Off (PTO) not to exceed 115 horsepower. _____________ _____________ The operator’s station shall be at the hopper end of the conveyor and the belt direction and speed shall be controlled by the PTO direction and RPM.; The unit shall be capable of loading a minimum of 50 tons of coarse rock salt per hour through a side door of the dome.
