Specifications include, but are not limited to: Hydrophilic End Seals: Some sites will require the installation of end seals. The callouts for those are included on the individual site maps. 9. Inversion Method of Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Liner Installation. The installation shall be a resin-impregnated flexible tube which is inverted into the original conduit by use of a hydrostatic head or air pressure. The resin is cured by circulating hot water or distributing steam throughout the tube. When cured, the finished CIPP liner will be continuous, tight fitting and sealed at the inlet and outlet points. 10. Verification of Pipe Details: The Contractor is responsible to verify pipe diameters, pipe lengths and pipe depths. The City of Wichita will not be responsible for unusable material ordered by the Contractor. Liner installation will be paid as bid and there will be no additional costs paid for variances to length or depth.
