The City of Hutchinson is seeking proposals for the purchase or long-term lease of Memorial Hall. The intent of the city is to sell or lease the building, in its current condition, for redevelopment and revitalization. Memorial Hall is an iconic historic building located at 101 S Walnut Street, Hutchinson, Kansas. This initiative aims to transform the Hall into a vibrant, selfsustaining entity that enhances the downtown area culturally and economically. The Hall's strategic location within the Downtown Core South Historic District makes it a valuable community resource and a key feature in the 2024 Downtown Hutch Master Plan. Depending on the type of revitalization, renovations to the building may be eligible for Kansas State Historic which could equal 25 percent of qualified expenditures.
