The University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department is seeking proposals for a comprehensive Public Safety Software Suite, including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management System (RMS), Fleet Management, Equipment Management, Evidence Tracking, and mobile applications corresponding to the specific software purpose. These programs will be utilized to create and document emergency and routine calls for service on our campuses, dispatch and track appropriate police and security units, document events, create criminal case reports, track evidence, log all inventory and equipment, and track Department vehicle maintenance history. The selected vendor will provide all necessary hardware, software, services, and training to deploy an all-encompassing software system to streamline daily operations, provide expedited handling of public safety requests for assistance, optimize inventory management, and modernize internal and external processes related to the mission and daily duties of the Police Department.
