Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Electrical Distribution System Installation, modification, replacement/removal, including but not limited to, 13.8 kV AC to low voltage DC. 2. Troubleshoot electrical circuits and devices as requested. 3. Provide itemized bids, as requested, in a timely manner. 4. Response time after hours within one hour of notification of at least one person. 5. Most work will be performed during daytime hours. However, after hours, weekend, and holiday work will occur at the convenience of KUMC. 6. Shutdowns will be scheduled two weeks in advance for planned activity. 7. Testing of new and existing Electrical Distribution Systems, e.g. periodic testing required by applicable codes. 8. Contractor shall provide all required tools, measuring instruments, and other apparatus. 9. Wiring for fire alarm, DDC controls, security, and access control systems. 10. Inspections will be as required by applicable codes, insurance companies, and others. 11. Perform and provide arc flash studies/calculations and required labeling per NFPA 70E as requested. 12. Perform and provide short circuit and coordination (fuse/breaker settings) studies as requested.
