Specifications include, but are not limited to: An on-call agency partner who can assist with front-end Web design/development within the university’s content management system and serve as a graphic design partner as needed on print publications and digital design projects. • Front-end Web Development o Agency partner will: Communicate with the Division of Communications and Marketing regarding any requests for service web development services from university constituents. Meet with university clients, as mutually agreed upon between the Division and agency partner, to determine website goals, audiences, and priorities. Conduct focus groups/usability research as necessary to aid in building an effective Web strategy. Develop an information hierarchy/architecture that supports the goals and vision for the website. Create the site infrastructure and create content (text/graphics) in support of the goals and vision. Implement the website in the university’s OmniUpdate (OU) Campus CMS system. • Graphic Design o Agency partner will: Serve as on-call graphic design partner with the Division of Communications and Marketing for visual conceptualization, layout, and graphic design on projects including but not limited to: • Brochures • Magazines • Flyers • Reports • Direct mail pieces • Posters • Website graphics • Advertisements (print and digital) Adhere to university brand standards as outlined at http://www.kstate.edu/vpcm/branding/KansasStateUniversity-BrandGuide.pdf.
