Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide a complete network cabling solution and security system that covers all steps from the initial site survey to equipment acquisition and complete installation, including cabling. The RFP provides vendors with the relevant operational, performance, and architectural requirements of the system. Project includes installation of CAT6 data drops, fiber installation, door access drops and hardware, security system install including motion detection, video with audio, panic alarms, and wireless access points. The locations for installation are: • 900 W. Myrtle – New Fire-EMS station • 225 E. Main – Police Evidence storage • 120 N. 6th – Renovation City Hall The Installer is responsible for all material and installation of equipment for the City of Independence, Ks. All equipment, cable, fiber, boxes, plates, connectors, are responsibility of contractor. Licensing will be placed in the name of the City of Independence and all rights and administration of the equipment given to the City of Independence. Security systems shall be administrated from City Hall for all buildings with on-line live access to security cameras and door access information. City will provide server racks, wall mount racks, Patch Paneling, & Fiber rack mount patch panel.
