Construction of a large, combined Play Area (PA-2, 3, 6, 7, and 8) with multiple play features contained in one large fall protected area. This area is a combined play area with multiple play features all on a common protective surface and connected for drainage purposes including PA-6. Playground features may be installed in the rough (existing) excavated area for PA-2, 3, 7, and 8 following completion of the Trickle Channel, Sky Trail tower footings and retaining wall between Towers 5.1- 7.0. Curbing, play feature installation, and PIP for PA-6 must wait for the Sky Trail footings and tower installation to be completed. The contractor shall provide site prep as required (including excavation as needed), for the placement of boundary 12” x 12” concrete curbing and connecting walkways as indicated. 2. Construction of a large, combined Play Area (PA-1 and 4) with multiple play features contained in one large fall protected area. Area PA-1/PA-4 is a unique area. The primary feature will be a reduced height aerial tower array tied to the extended Sky Trail at Tower #3. The interior 12” x 12” curbing has been included in the work tasks for the tower footings preparatory to placement of the Sky Trail towers and is not included in this contract. Following PA-1 rough excavation, the Sky Trail footings, towers, and trail segments will be placed. Upon completion of the placement of the towers, the exterior 12” x 12” concrete curbing can be completed for this play area. PA-4 will be constructed in conjunction with PA1, on a common play surface to provide a common area with access.
