a. Patterson Blvd Medians i. The contractor will landscape six (6) center medians along Patterson Blvd. Each median will require: 1. Removal of existing vegetation (if applicable) 2. Installation of weed barrier fabric 3. Decorative gravel 4. Seasonal flower planting b. Downtown Beautification i. Contractors must provide a bid for one or both of the following options: 1. Option A: Planters a. Planting 20 large planters (City will place planters) i. Use of soil, flowers, and proper drainage materials b. Option B: Hanging Baskets i. Planting and hanging 60 flower baskets (City will install hanging hardware) ii. Baskets must not exceed 40 lbs when filled c. Optional Maintenance (Bid Separately) i. Watering at least three times per week during growing season ii. Plant replacement as needed iii. Routine maintenance including weeding, pruning, and fertilizing
