Specifications include, but are not limited to: Groundwater contamination site remediation for areas affected by historic oil and gas industry practices. The KCC expends monies from the Abandoned Well / Site Remediation Fund and from the Conservation Fee Fund toward its efforts to remediate these contamination sites. The Harbaugh Site is located in 29-33-11W, Barber County, KS. The site was installed in 1998 to address brine contamination in the surrounding areas shallow groundwater zones. The entire site consists of a multitude of shallow recovery wells to remove brine affected waters and the Harbaugh SWD #1 (15-007-22577) disposal well drilled to the Arbuckle formation. Currently the disposal well is not taking an acceptable amount of fluid and is need of a workover. This contract is to provide various labor, materials, equipment and services to be utilized in performing the workover operations and related site restoration on the Harbaugh site of the KCC’s District 1 field office, located out of Dodge City, Kansas.
