Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dual compartment Aluminum construction – Grade 5052. Interior wall thickness – 0.190” – This includes all inner walls of tank. Outer wall thickness – No less than 0.125” Tank must have two compartments separated by a solid insulated center wall resulting in compartments that allow filling and hauling independently. Each compartment will have identical dimensions and capacities. Rough capacity of ~150 gallons. Insulation – Minimum 2” thickness of Polyurethane Top, bottom, sides, and lids of tank must be insulated. Dividing wall between compartments can be 1” thick insulation to increase tank capacity if construction and strength limitations allow. Parameters for each compartment: Interior dimensions: 20.5” wide x 83” long. Front Depth – 21”, Rear Depth – 23”. Discharge Ports: 8-inch cam locks (with cap)– Brand - PT Couplings to remain consistent with other hatchery rigs. Internal slide gates must be installed to retain contents when outside fitting is removed. Aerator Openings: Two on each a minimum of 4.5 inches in diameter. Oxygen line access: One ¾” opening per compartment. Floor: Slope to rear of tank to aid discharge – two inches from front to rear. Openings: Maximum allowed for access but still allow necessary sealing surface for door to seat. Overflow drain: No overflow drain required. Hinged Lids or access doors: Exterior Dimensions – 61” x 19” Non-corrosive quarter turn handles to latch the lids. (photo attached for reference) PVC gasket around inside edge of entire lid to minimize leakage during transport (photo of suggested gasket type attached – ¾” is current size) Stainless steel gas struts to hold lids open (length sized (~15”) that will maximize access to each tank and still allow both lids to remain open at same time (60-90-pound capacity)) Lock down capabilities: two ¾” stainless steel non-locking draw latches mounted to the side of tank and catch mounted to edge of lid at the front and rear of lid – (Grainger part #1XPC9 for reference- current latch installed on existing tanks) See attached photo in supporting documents for mounting suggestion. Lifting lugs – Four lifting lugs (Non-Corrosive D-rings) mounted to each corner of the tank (front and rear) at the top to allow lifting with a chain or harness. Bolt down capabilities at each corner as pictured in drawing for ¾ ton pick-up. Welded to side of tank. Discharge tube – 8-inch PT coupling cam lock x barb with 5 feet of 8-inch ridged rubber hose attached. Total tube length just over 5 feet with fitting. All electrical wiring, aerators, oxygen line, and air stones to be supplied and installed by owner after delivery.
