The University of Kansas (KU) is seeking an online event management platform for the University of Kansas (KU) Lawrence/Edwards campus organizations. The platform will facilitate event posting by campus organizations and provide users with a centralized location to search and view event-related details. This initiative aims to streamline event discovery, improve user engagement, and enhance administrative efficiency. The primary objectives of the new system are to: • Provide a centralized platform for KU organizations to post and manage events. • Enable users to search for and view event-related details easily. • Offer seamless integration with existing KU systems such as KU SSO, website CMS (Drupal), academic calendars, and CRM platforms (Enrole and Slate). • Enhance event discovery and user engagement to increase awareness and attendance. • Improve accessibility and usability for all users, including those with disabilities. • Ensure data security and compliance with KU’s IT policies.
