1. The organization shall utilize only field engineers or technicians, which it employs unless the project manager grants specific permission, or where specific provisions are made elsewhere in this section. 2. Test assistants or trainees may be assigned to aid Field Engineers at a ratio not to exceed one to one. Field Engineers refers to a technician with level 3 or 4 certification from NETA or NICET. 3. All electrical testing and inspections shall assure that the equipment and systems are fully operational as intended and meet industry and manufacturer tolerances. Additionally, test shall determine continued reliable operation of the equipment. 4. All existing or potential electrical hazards shall be reported to the project manager immediately as found. 5. All work performed by the organization shall be conducted in a safe and workmanlike manner. 6. All work performed by the organization shall be in compliance with any applicable Codes which may include N.E.T.A., N.F.P.A. 70, N.F.P.A. 70 B, I.E.E.E., N.E.M.A., O.S.H.A., A.N.S.I., A.S.T.M. Electrical testing and inspections, specifically, shall be consistent with N.E.T.A. publication “Maintenance Testing Specifications for Electric Power Distribution Equipment and Systems”, and N.F.P.A. 70 B. 7. The Agreement shall include, but not be limited to, all troubleshooting and minor repairs such as loose bolts or terminations, electrical or mechanical adjustments, cleaning, minor testing, etc. Additionally, any minor adjustments needed to achieve optimum performance shall be included. The organization shall provide small hardware such as bolts and terminals as well as lubricants as necessary. Adjustments requiring engineering evaluation or repairs requiring time in excess of thirty minutes, major parts or overtime is not considered as minor. Major repair work, not included in the agreement, is not guaranteed to be awarded and/or performed by the organization.
