Specifications include, but are not limited to: This request for proposal is for the establishment of a contract for disaster Response and Recovery services for the various facilities owned and operated by the University of Kansas, including but not limited to academic, administration, library and museum and residential facilities. The University seeks a contract for the purpose of securing service Contractor(s) for disaster recovery. The Contractor will be responsible for responding to those events where the services are deemed necessary by the local authorities (University) and shall be responsible for providing services within a maximum amount of four (4) hours from the time of initial contact. The Contractor(s) will be responsible for such items as water and fire damage losses both man-made and natural. The contractor may also be responsible for such services as water extraction, drying of structures and contents, debris removal, etc The Contractor will not be responsible for any structural repair or construction.
