Interpret state and federal laws and administrative actions. Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, leases, and resolutions. Advise on individual labor and employment matters. Review personnel, fiscal, and other Seward County policies and procedures. Attend Seward County Commission agenda meetings in person. At this time, meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m., unless otherwise announced. There is a possibility that regular meeting dates and times could be added or altered, and not all meetings require attendance. Advance notice would be given if attendance is not needed for any given Commission meeting. Give advice on legal questions that arise and assist the Board of County Commissioners and its officials on legal matters arising from the business of county government.
