4.1. Agricultural Seed Specifications for Corn • All seeds are to have a guaranteed germination of no less than 95% germination and Round-Up ready. • All seeds are to be locally adapted to Northeast Kansas/Missouri River bottom ground and must be a commercial variety with proven recent genetics. • Specify seed size (Accu-flat or round, no platelet) 100% replant required. • Bidders must provide test plot results from within the past 3 years showing yield results in NE Kansas • Missouri River bottom ground. Bid acceptance will be based on value of projected yields less seed cost. • In case of conditions that prevent planting within the preferred planting dates, please include a return policy for each lot bid. • Successful bidder will be required to deliver the seed to the KCI farm in Lansing Ks. All materials will be invoiced upon delivery. Please expedite if time sensitive discount applies. • Provide seed corn (flex ear) at 32,000 seeds per acre for approximately 730 acres with a 110–117-day maturity, Flex ear, Round Up Ready VT-2 Pro or equivalent, Poncho treated or equivalent. 4.2.
