Shawnee County Parks and Recreation Department (SCP+R) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, construction equipment, coordination, and supervision necessary for the reconstruction of the Gage Park Play Land prior to April 2026. The work shall include the construction of necessary concrete footings for a custom multi-tower aerial adventure trail playground structure (Sky Trail) as an unattended net play structure, and the construction of ten (10) new play areas (PA). The project shall include the coordination of the placement of new playground equipment at each PA. Work shall include excavation, site prep, utilities relocation, concrete structural footings, concrete curbing, concrete walkways, subsurface drainage systems, poured-in-place (PIP) safety surfacing, fencing, piping, and site amenities as detailed in the project concept drawings, design drawings, and specifications contained herein.
