The University of Kansas (“KU”) is soliciting proposals from well-qualified suppliers to provide security software system, compatible with their current infrastructure and CCTV components, that can offer advanced analytics searches and monitoring of campus for safety and security of persons and property. The units of Campus Operations intended to use this software would be Locks, Access & Security Technology Services (“LASTS”), KU Police Department (“KUPD”), and could also include KU Parking. The software is not related to research, data collection, or data publishing and will be used by Campus Operations in compliance with State and Local government policies and in alignment with best practices to align with University of Kansas values.
