Specifications include, but are not limited to: KDOR’s preferred method of logistical support is to keep all property on-site of seized location for potential on-site auction. However, KDOR recognizes that in certain circumstances, seized assets must be removed from the location and stored elsewhere. Contractor(s) shall be available to receive and accept seized assets at any time, 24 hours a day seven days a week. Contractor(s) must be available for contact during regular business hours. Contractor(s) shall be flexible on scheduled start and end times for seizures. Seizures may take several days to complete, may be conducted at all hours and may be scheduled on very short notice. Seizures may be cancelled on short notice at the discretion of KDOR. Contractor(s) shall have access to adequate resources to support the scope of the asset seizure. Upon request of KDOR, Contractor(s) may be asked to maintain seized building(s) and/or assets at the location of the seizure or at an off-site location until completion of the auction. Contractor(s) shall provide live and/or Internet public auction services at the seizure location, the Contractor(s)’s location or Contractor(s)’s specified website or at other locations as specified by KDOR on the date and time agreed to between Contractor(s) and KDOR. Specific items may be removed from the auction or the entire auction cancelled or postponed at any time at the discretion of KDOR with the Contractor(s) responsible for public notification. Prior to the auction, items must be able to be retrieved for return to owners if necessary.
