The work is generally described as follows: Approximately 390 SF of 4” Sidewalk, 255 SF of 6” Driveway, 600 SF of 8” ADA Parking Stall, and 222 LF of Curb and Gutter Repairs throughout the City of Augusta, KS. All work shall be completed in accordance with the City of Wichita Standard Specifications. Contractor shall document existing property conditions prior to construction. Documentation shall be video-recorded tape supplemented with 35mm or digital photographs. Neither videotape nor photographs shall be made from a moving vehicle. One (1) copy of documentation package shall be provided to the City prior to beginning construction of the project. Concrete shall meet flush with existing pavement to remain. For Sidewalk and ADA Parking Stalls, all concrete shall meet ADA specifications and drain adequately. Driveway and Curb & Gutter replacements shall match the existing slopes and shed water adequately. All work shall prevent collection or pooling of water on the pavement surface unless noted otherwise. Concrete Sidewalk replacement shall be 4” thick, broom finished and be reinforced with welded wire fabric. All welded wire fabric shall utilize chairs at a minimum 3’ O.C. to make the wire at one half (1/2) the depth of the concrete. Sidewalk to be constructed to City of Wichita specifications using concrete (4,000-lbs, six sack mix).
