Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2021 Nuisance Code Mowing, Trash/Debris Removal, Trimming, and Snow Removal Bid Package; The City of Bonner Springs seeks contractor bids to mow grass and weeds, remove debris and trash and trim trees. The City Municipal Code of Ordinances requires that violation notices be issued to property owners when: (1) vegetation reaches a height of twelve (12) inches; (2) loose trash and debris is present upon the property; and/or (3) tree limbs on private property or in the right-of-way are less than 14 feet above the surface of the street or 9 feet above a public sidewalk. If the violation is not abated by the deadline date, City Staff will submit a work order to the contractor with instructions on the required work to be performed to bring the property into compliance.
