Acceptable manufacturer and model: Clow 2639 or 2640 F-6100. Package 2 - Stainless steel tapping sleeve a. Flange must be stainless steel with stainless steel bolts, with dimensions and drillings according to AWWA C110. b. Minimum 14-gauge stainless steel, complying with ASTM A240, type 304, fully surrounding the pipe. c. Must be furnished complete with all accessories. d. Acceptable manufacturer and model: Smith-Blair 665. Valve Boxes and Fittings Package 3 - Valve box a. Two-piece, slip type, gray iron, asphalt coating finish, 5-inch minimum inside diameter. b. Valve lids marked “Water.” c. Acceptable manufacturer and model: Tyler Union 7126 range 39" to 60." Package 4 - Fittings (No accessories kit needed) a. All fittings must conform to AWWA C110 or AWWA C153. Fittings 12-inch diameter and larger, and all sizes of swivel/anchor tees, must conform to AWWA C110. b. Mechanical joint system complying with AWWA C111. c. All nuts and bolts must be stainless steel or high-strength, low-alloy steel in accordance with AWWA C111 with a ceramic-filled, baked-on, fluorocarbon resin coating (such as Cor-Blue). d. Cement mortar lined according to AWWA C104 with asphalt coating. e. Acceptable manufacturers and models: Romac Alpha (XL) End Cap, Sigma, Tyler/Union, US Pipe, Hymax. Package 5 - Mechanical joint restraint device a. Must be furnished with high-strength, low-alloy steel in accordance with AWWA C111 with a ceramic-filled, baked-on, fluorocarbon resin coating (such as Cor-Blue) nuts and bolts. b. Acceptable manufacturers and models: EBAA 1100 and 2000 PV; Tyler Union TUFGrip 1000, 1000S, 1500, 2000, and 2000S.
