Specifications include, but are not limited to: A solution that replaces/upgrades its current Avaya CS1000 81c switches located in Ames and Ankeny. DOT is looking for a total system solution that must be on-premise and must integrate with Office365 (presence, click to call, etc.) as this is our current platform. DOT is open to non-essential parts of the call processing (i.e. conferencing) and contact center reporting being cloud based. It is desired for the system to integrate with Skype for Business. If a proposed platform does not integrate with Skype for Business, a comparable solution should be proposed. It should be flexible and robust with a high degree of resiliency. Failover protection on site and between sites is a must as the Iowa DOT requires a high degree of uptime. The Iowa DOT is not interested in a SAAS (software as a service) or UCAAS (unified communications as a service) solution that would be billed monthly/annually for every device/license/feature but do expect to pay an annual maintenance/support cost.
